Anansi Boys, by Neil Gaiman (Books 2007, 15)

More by the net’s number one Neil, and a kind-of sequel to American Gods. And more excellent stuff.

This is comic novel, compared with the darker tone of American Gods. So if anything it has more similarities to Good Omens.

Charlie discovers in short order that his father has died, and was a god; and that he had a brother he never knew about.

His brother turns up, and turns his life upside down. Or maybe inside out.
