Nothing wrong with handcoding HTML.  Also I have this blog configured to accept Textile lightweight markup.  But the point of using a desktop client is that you reduce the risk of losing a post in a web-posting accident.

I tend to write longer posts in a text editor and copy-and-past, of course, but it would be nice to just hit a key combination and have the editor post it automatically.</description>
